How to apply Tourist/Visit Visa for Pakistan?

To get a tourist visa for Pakistan, visitor must apply online through NADRA Pakistan official Online Visa System. Tourist or visit visa is only valid for tourism and expedition purposes. It takes 7 to 10 working days for normal Standard Processing. You will need a valid passport with minimum six month validiity, a digital photograph, and other supporting travel documents i.e. a hotel booking details or letter of invitation.

Tourist Visa Types

You can apply two types of visas using the online Visa System.
Entry Visa : It is new visa request, if you do not have a valid Pakistan Visa.
Extension : If you are in Pakistan with a valid Pakistan Visa, and want to extend the visa expiry date.

Tourist Visa on Arrival (ETA)

Citizens of eligible countries for ETA can get visa on arrival. Tey must have passport with 6 months validity, Passport size Photo, Hotel Booking documents, or Tour Operator Certificate from DTS Approved agency.
They must apply before 2 to 4 days of their departure.

Trekking & Mountaineering Visa

Climbers and expedition teams must be restricted to visit the mentioned area or mountain peaks.
They must confirm registration with Alpine Adventure club or any other Approved Travel club as licensed local tour operator.
They must have location and treking route map.
It takes 4 to 6 weeks for clearance to issue visa.

Eligibility

Citizens of coountries included in the eligible countries list, can apply for Tourist/Visit visa for individual for the period of less than 3 months.
Citizens of these countries can apply for Visa Extension up to 6 months or more than 6 months with multiple entries.

Duration & Validity

Entry Visa will be issued for single entry for up to 3 months.
Visa Extension can be applied for up to 6 months for multiple entries, or more than 6 months with multiple entries.
Note : Applicant must be residing in Pakistan.

Processing Time

For Entry Vias for Individual : 7 to 10 working days
For Extension up to 6 months : 7 to 10 working days
For Extension more than 6 months : 4 weeks

Steps for e-Visa Online Application Processing

Visit NADRA online Visa portal and create an account.
Select Visa Type or Category and fill in the required details.
Upload the required scanned documents and passport size picture with white background.
Pay the required visa processing fee using credit/debit card.
Wait for the required processing time by checking the Review Tab.
On approval, an official e-Visa PDF will be sent and get a print out to present at immigration upon arrival
