These hospitals are providing district level health care services and mostly located in the captial towns of districts. They are equipped with permanent doctors, 24/7 emergency support, general surgery, and blood banks.

Combined Military Hospitals

CMH hospitals provides advance level medical facilities like ICU support, trauma care facility, oxygen cylinder support, and severe high-altitude sickness care. They also provides helicopter evacuation services for high-altitude emergency.

In case of tranfer injured person or patient from the incident place to hospital or hospital to any destination, one may call country-wide services of Rescue 1122 or Edhi 115 for any type of logistics support. One can dial, these emergency numbers from any local or mobile cellular networks such as Jazz, Ufone, Zong, or SCOM.

Share Precise GPS Coordinates

In highly remote mountain routes as well as traveling on the Karakoram Highway or Skardu Road, one must provide exact GPS coordinates with exact distance in kilometers with references to nearest check posts or towns.

Contact Local Military / Police Checkposts

On high-altitude mountain areas like Deosai or Khunjerab Pass or international border zones, where cellular network coverage is not available or limited, contact nearest Army checkposts immediately.

Altitude Sickness (AMS) and Evacuation

On high-altitude mountain areas like Deosai or Khunjerab Pass, hikers have to face Severe Acute Mountain Sickness, so they need high-altitude support to get evacuation immediately. One need to contact with nearest regional military or civilian hospitals of the town.
