About Kenhatti Garden

Kenhatti Garden is one of the major tourist attaraction in the Soon Valley, which is located at the distance of 20 km from Naushehra, the main town in the Soon Valley. It is accessed via Naushehra-Jaba Road by turning left after crossing Khabbaki village. The route toward Kenhatti Garden is full of picturesque and scenic views, which never be ignored by the tourists.

Its name is derived from a special rock, Kanhat, found in the natural spring in the garden. Kenhatti Garden is very attractive place with different types of fruit trees and crops, which give a cool and pleasant environment. Almond, apricot, nagpurisangtara, pine apple, Valencia late and Washington Navel are the main fruit trees in the garden, in which Valencia Citrus is main uniqueness of the garden available in May-June. It is a place of comfort and relax. It is also developed site for tourist by TDCP, so it has facilities of restaurants, rest-house and parking area.

It is also a wonderful place to observe different types of colorful birds such as Grey and Black partridges, Punjab Urial, woodpeckers, pigeons, and golden orioles.

The main source of water in Kenhatti Garden is the natural spring and rain water. Sometimes artificial source such tube-well is also used to provide water in the garden. Due to natural spring, it is also famous for the waterfall on the 2 km trek in the Kenhatti Garden.
