Water System in Rama Valley (Gilgit Baltistan)

About Rama Meadows

Rama Meadows is located at the distance of 13km from Rama Village in the Astore District, Gilgit-Baltistan. Rama Meadows is a peaceful and calm place to enjoy the greenery in the Rama Valley within the attractive color structure of mountains. There are vast areas with lush green forests which makes oneself forget the tiredness of the long traveling to Rama Valley.

Rama Valley is a forest area with pine, cedar, and juniper trees at the altitude of 10,800 feet, which is a vast area for animal grazing by local people. Nanga Parbat is also visible from Rama Valley in clear weather, which is the 8th highest mountain in the world.

From Rama Meadows, there is a short jeep track to Rama Lake, which is one of the beautiful lakes in Pakistan.
