Miranjani Top
Miranjani is located in Namli town in Abbaottabad district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. it is highest peak in the Galyat Region, at the elevation of 9,814 feet and one of the famous hiking trail for hikkers and tourists. Miranjani Trek is started at the distance of nearly three kilometers from Nathia Gali town. Total length of trek is about 4.7 km in the mountainous and steep terrain of the Miranjani peak.
Miranjani Track is little bit difficult to due its steep and rocky structure. It becomes difficult to trek without proper equipment such as hiking sticks and hiking shoes. Trek is totally covered in dense pine forest which makes its atmosphere healthy and charming. It provides opportunity to explore different kind of flora and fauna available in the Ayubia National Park. Before starting to hike on Miranjani Trek, one must have water bottles and eatables with them. Miranjani Trek is started at the junction of Namli village and Bakot Gali. It takes 4 to 5 hours to ascend the trek and nearly 3 hours to descend down from the Miranjani Top. Same trek is used to access Dagri Bangla on the right side just before Miranjani Top.
Miranjani is located in the Himalyan Range and received considerable amount of snowfall in the winter season. Therefore, it becomes one of the hot tourist site in winter season during the snowfall.
From the Miranjani Summit, one can have a panoramic view of mountain ranges in Kashmir as well as Galyat Region. In the clear weather, one can able to view Nanga Parbat, the 9th highest peak of the world, in the Gilgit-Baltistan. The clear view of Mushkpuri peak, the second highest peak in the Galyat Region, is also seen there.
Miranjani Top is a narrow and short meadows with lush green grass with various color flowers. It is a peaceful place to enjoy the few hours of your life within the pleasant and fantastic atmosphere.
