Sunehri Mosque

The Sunehri Masjid, also known as Talai Mosque, is one of the late Mughal architecture in the walled city Lahore in Kashmiri Bazaar, in the reign of Muhammad Shah. It is located at the distance of 2 km from Lahore Railway station via Delhi Gate in Walled City Lahore

The mosque was built on the second level elevated 11 feet with shops on the first level. There is a 16-steps stair in front of the mosque. The main prayer chamber is divided into three sections with three domes with Sikh architecture style used in Amritsar. The interior of the mosque is well decorated with Mughal-era frescoes. There are four minarets at the four corners of the mosque. The height of the front two minarets is more than the others on the backside. There is a small courtyard outside the main prayer chamber with an ablution tank in the center.
