Shrine of Baba Kamal Chishti
The shrine of Hazrat Baba Shah Kamal Chishti is located on Ferozepur Road at the distance of 4 km from Kasur Railway Station. His shrine stands on the hilltop just outside the main Kasur City. A local legend describes about the great flood destroyed the town but leaving only the shrine of Hazrat Kamal Chisti.
The shrine can be easily accessed from Lahore via Ferozepur Road or Lahore-Kasur Highway and Kasur Bypass to reach central Kasur old town. After parking your vehicle, a straight track leads to stairs leading up the tomb's building.
Link with the Chishti Order
He is one of the famous saint among those in sub-continent who had played important role in spreading Islam. He is the 13th century saint associated with Chishti order linked with Baba Fariduddin Ganjshakar. It is one of the key spiritual monuments in Kasur related to old Sufi traditions.
Layout of the Shrine
The shrine is located on an elevated mound near the old city on the main Ferozepur Road. It is accessible by stairs leading up from the bottom track. Visitors have to follow the stairs to access multi-level platforms of the shrine complex of Baba Kamal Chishti to get sweeping views of the city skyline. At the top, there is a small green dome over the squared building that hold the grave. There is also a small mosque adjacent to the shrine over the hilltop.

A wide and panoramic views of Kasur city is also available on the rooftops. The best time to visit the shrine to get the splendid views of the Kasur city is just before sunset. Visitors also enjoy the pleasant weather in the evening due to highest place of the Kasur City.
Timing to Visit the Shrine
The shrine is available for general public to visit from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. It is an obligatory duty to have head covering and barefooted when entering the inner building of the tomb. The spiritual Qawwaali sessions and lamp-lightings held on each Thursday. Annual Urs Festival is held every year to attract several local devotees and pilgrims.
