Today, my friends and I decided to explore the historic city of Lahore. we started our journey from Kalma Chowk Lahore Metro Bus Station our destination was the last stop of Metro Bus Station we took off from the bus. We have reached outside of the Minar-e-Pakistan around 8.30 a.m.

Lahore is famous for its crowded streets and traffic which shows the fast pace of people here .Modern Lahore is good but one can't stop himself praising the beauty of old Lahore.Even people from other countries come to visit Walled City of Lahore and wonder exploring its beauty. Its beauty is the narrow streets and balconies, those still represent the real history of Lahore.

We started our exploration by visiting the famous Greater Iqbal Park in the heart of Lahore City, where Minar-e-Pakistan was constructed in the memory of the Pakistan Resolution on 23rd March 1940. We remove around the park and took pictures in front of historical Minar-e-Pakistan.

Then, We have visited the historical Mughal era mosque, the majestic Badshahi Mosque that has four minarets at its four corners. It's design is impressive and showing the real craft of the Mughal Architecture. After that, we have also visited small museum inside the Badshahi mosque, where saw Holy Quran written with gold wire as well as different belongings related to Holy Prophet and his Companions. Outside the Badshahi Mosque, we prayed at the Mizar-e-Iqbal.

From there, we headed to the Lahore Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we were struck by the beautiful palaces, gardens, and museums within its walls. Lahore fort is one of the best visiting place, where we can explore different historical eras in the sub-continent such as Mughals, Sikhs, and British era. Sheesh Mahal is one of the most beautiful and fantastic architecture that presents the height of the Mughal construction. I personally love this place to visit again and again. We have also visited Naulakha Pavilion, Picture Wall, Summer Palace, Diwan-i-Khas, and various other parts of the Shahi Qila.

We explored various historical buildings and landmarks in the Lahore Fort. Then we have decided to take our lunch inside the Fort just in front of the wonderful view of Badshahi Mosque.

Then we have reached at Lahore Museum by hiring a taxi. Lahore Museum has a wonderful collection of Buddhism, Hinduism, Mughals, and British era in the sub-continent. It also has a collection of Pakistan movement and history of after Pakistan's independence. We have learned lot of historical subjects by exploring its various galleries. It was a real learning and memorable tour.

After a fascinating day of history and culture, we ended our evening with a visit to the bustling Anarkali Bazaar, where we indulged in delicious street food, shopped for souvenirs, and enjoyed the lively atmosphere. It was an unforgettable experience sharing these iconic landmarks with my friends, and we left Lahore with memories to cherish for a lifetime. Our journey was ended with a delicious food at Foot Street in Old Anarkali Bazaar.
